Having embarked onto the internet nearly ten years ago with the first mortuary website in our city, HALSTED N. GRAY - CAREW & ENGLISH FUNERAL DIRECTORS has now recently partnered with World Wide Memorials, the leader in Live Internet broadcasting solutions to become the only mortuary in San Francisco providing live internet funeral webcasts.
Quite often, for one reason or another, family and friends may be unable to attend the funeral ceremony.To ensure no one is excluded from participating, we can now broadcast the funeral in real-time, over the internet using a discreet, password-protected channel, so that those who are unable to physically attend the service can be "virtually" present and experience all aspects of this important event while it is taking place.
Endorsed by the California Funeral Directors' Association, this new, technology-driven service option is extremely affordable. Also, depending on each family's individual needs, the funeral service can either be broadcast in real-time (while it is happening) or at an alternate future time selected by the family. A recording of the service is additionally archived for 60 days on Worldwide Memorial's website so that it can be viewed later, by those who may not have had the opportunity to see the live broadcast.
